WHAT DOES THE TERM META-ANALYSIS MEAN FOR WORLD'S BEST EMPLOYERS?
According to the German Chemnitz University of Technology, a meta-analysis is the “summary of the current state of research on a question by statistical aggregation of empirical individual results of homogeneous primary studies“.
To obtain meaningful results, we rely on data from a variety of freely available sources. These are collected and rated in various ways to determine the WORLD´S BEST EMPLOYER 2025 in the UNITED STATES.
Our meta-analysis is based on subjective opinions and objective criteria, such as offers made by employers to employees which are publicly communicated.
THE PROCESS
In a multi-stage process, we identify the most attractive employers in the United States once a year from more than 250,000 employers in the United States, which we then award the “WORLD’S BEST EMPLOYER – UNITED STATES” seal of approval. Further information on the methodology can also be found in our video “WORLD’S BEST EMPLOYERS – UNITED STATES”. Employers are assessed and can receive a total of 500 points as part of the assessment. These 500 points are distributed across the core areas we have defined in order to provide a holistic assessment of the attractiveness of employers.
