How to read the results
500 points across ten core areas
Employee reviews (90 points) and services for employees (85 points) carry the most weight. No single area decides the result on its own.
Recognised from 300 points
Every employer that reaches the threshold is recognised. The public list shows the 1,000 employers with the most points, and employers with the same score share a rank.
Based on public sources
Scores are based on publicly available data collected between 10 and 30 November 2026. The sources page shows which sources count.

Frequently asked questions about the 2027 list
Who is the best company to work for in the UK in 2027?
That will be known on 1 December 2026, when the 1,000 highest-scoring employers are published here. In the UK, 27,000 employers are recognised in total, each with at least 300 out of 500 points.
How does a company get on the list?
Our research team screens more than 2.7 million businesses in the United Kingdom using public sources and scores them across ten core areas. Employers with a total of at least 300 points are recognised.
My company is recognised but not in the list. Why?
The public list only shows the 1,000 employers with the most points. If you would like to know whether another company has been recognised, please ask us via the contact form on our home page.
Why do only some entries have their own results page?
We create a detailed results page for recognised companies that have booked a marketing package. Rank and points do not depend on it.
Can companies apply or pay for a place?
No. Companies cannot apply, and points cannot be bought. Only after being recognised can a company book a package to use the seal. This has no effect on the result.
When was the data collected?
Between 10 and 30 November 2026. The results are published on 1 December 2026 and apply to 2027.
The study is independent and is not connected to other rankings with similar names. Read more about the methodology.
