WHAT DOES THE TERM META-ANALYSIS MEAN IN THE CONTEXT OF WORLD'S BEST EMPLOYERS?

According to the Chemnitz University of Technology, a meta-analysis is the ‘summary of the current state of research on a topic through statistical aggregation of empirical individual results of primary studies that are homogeneous in content’.

To obtain meaningful results, we rely on data from a variety of freely accessible sources. These are collected and weighted differently to determine the WORLDS BEST EMPLOYER – UNITED KINGDOM 2025.

Our meta-analysis is based on subjective opinions and objective criteria, such as offers from employers to employees that are publicly communicated.

THE PROCESS

In a multi-stage process, we identify the most attractive employers in the United Kingdom from over 85.000 employers in the United Kingdom, which we then award the ‘WORLD’S BEST EMPLOYER 2025’ seal of approval. Please find attached the project phases of our study.

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT WORLD'S BEST EMPLOYERS

Further information on the methodology can also be found in our video ‘WORLD’S BEST EMPLOYERS’. Employers are evaluated and can receive a total of 500 points as part of the evaluation. These 500 points are distributed across the core areas we have defined in order to be able to carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the attractiveness of employers. If an employer has achieved at least 300 points, they will be recognised as a WORLD’S BEST EMPLOYER 2025. Only these employers will have the opportunity to purchase a marketing package to advertise the award.
